We’d like to give a shout out to the faculty, staff and students of William J. Bogan Computer Technical High School - Twitter:  @BoganBengal79 - for their leadership in the way of iPad usage in the classroom.

Over the past 18 months Bogan has launched and sustained one of the largest single-site iPad deployments in Chicago Public Schools.  The team of teachers in the iPad cohort manage 300 iPads used by over 1000 students each day across over 40 class sections.  Bogan’s principal, Mrs. Alahrie Aziz-Sims, is leading Bogan down a path of robust digitalization.  The iPads are a cornerstone in her leadership team’s model for creating a 1:1 iPad ecosystem.  App usage runs the gamut at Bogan - from GoogleDrive to Twitter to ExplainEverything to the iWork and ILife apps, students are developing an invaluable digital skill set across many of their classes.

Along with the iPad deployment, students at Bogan are able to connect their personal digital devices to the wifi network, which creates a Bring-Your-Own-Device environment across the entire school.  Many teachers who are not part of the iPad cohort are still able to digitize many instructional tasks and teach students how to use their devices for education work.

The iOS Support Team would like to thank all those faculty, staff and students at Bogan who are showing that the Bengal Way is one of iOS leadership in Chicago Public Schools.

There are many parents who don’t want their children to play games and sports. They think that these will spoil their children. But it is not true. To lead a complete life we need many other things along with our own business. For this reason student needs to play games and sports because these have great usefulness. To keep their body and mind sound they needs sports. Sports makes them physically active and refresh their mind. So, guardians should keep in mind that sports are necessary for a student to grow up.
