How to Request Free iApps

What is iOS Fulfillment?

If your school purchased or activated iOS devices on
or after September 1, 2013, and is part of the Apple Volume Purchase Program (VPP), you can request redeemable content codes for the iApps: Keynote, Numbers, Pages, iMovie, and GarageBand.

NOTE: This information was referenced from an Apple Support article located here.

Qualifications

  • You must be enrolled in VPP for education
  • You must have iOS devices that support iOS 8, such as:
    • iPad 2 (and later models)
    • iPad mini (1st generation) and later
  • PDF copy of the original invoice or Purchase Order
    • The iPads purchased must be clearly marked on the invoice or Purchase Order
    • The iPads must have been purchased on or after 9/1/2013

How to make the request

The Process
For each sales receipt or PO, you must submit a separate form request.
  1. Go to this site: https://www.apple.com/support/itunes/vpp-edu/
  2. From the "What do you need help with” drop down menu, select other
  3. For the “Institution name" section, write Chicago Public Schools
  4. For the First name and Last name sections, fill out with your name
  5. For the “Apple ID” section, enter your PF1 account credentials  NOTE: If you do not know this info, please email ipads@cps.edu
  6. For the “Email address" section, enter your PF1 account credentials  NOTE: emails sent to the PF1 address are auto forwarded to the CPS email address of whomever at your school is set up as the Program Facilitator.

Communication from Apple
An automated email will be generated and sent to you following the completion of the request. This response will provide you with a ticket number and indicate that you should receive a response from an Apple representative within one business day.

Once a Apple representative responds, you will be asked to provide:
  1. The Apple ID used to enroll in the Volume Purchase Program  NOTE: This is the PF1 account credentials
